I envy creativity
That’s why I love to perform, because I can’t create anything satisfying for myself. I try to write, and become so incredibly frustrated that I don’t want nothing to do with anything that comes out of my pencil. It’s so frustrating that when I DO stumble upon inspiration that I refuse to write, at the fear of destroying that idea. I hate to claim ideas, traits, and habits...

Cupcake fail
The boy and I made cup cakes last night, we failed.. miserably! I underbaked them, but he still ate like half of them. He has a cold so he said he couldn’t taste them and REALLY wanted to eat junk food. The frosting was AWFUL. I didn’t combine the ingredients right, so it just tasted like crunchy sweet butter. whoops. Still had fun though! :)

Early V-day :)
Had lots of fun today. The boy took me out to a piano recital. We watched Ms. Yeol Eum Son tear it UP on the piano. She was awesome. She played some fantastic classical pieces and sneaked a modern piece in there. He told me not many performers play modern pieces at these series, so the fact that it was so well received was a big deal. She was awesome, and played a cute little encore for us :)....

…now that I moved the mountain range of books up to a shelf. I must admit though, I do like how my books look all organized and such. So pretty, it’s like a baby library. Now I need some bookends. Oh well, the stack of nonfiction will just have to suffice, because reality yields fantasy, right? or inspires it? or supports it? eh? eh? EHHHH?
