Pete Yorn & Scarlett Johansson - I Don’t Know What To Do
<3 couldn’t have said it better
can we please, as a community, stop scapegoating effeminate gay men? pretty please? it’s horribly unbecoming. just like you didn’t ask to like guys, they can’t help being fabulous. yes, they fit the stereotype. that means they’re the most visible, the most derided, the most bullied, the most bashed. they take all the flack that you avoid by being “masculine” or “straight-acting.” don’t you think that deserves a little respect? can you imagine how it might feel to be isolated within your already isolated community?
for all you gays who write “masculine only” on their grindr profiles and have a serious problem with characters like kurt hummel or jack mcfarland, you really should ask yourself why it bothers you. have homophobes convinced you that singing showtunes makes you less of a man? that there’s something wrong with being effeminate? think about how hypocritical it is to say it’s ok to like guys but not ok to be girly. it’s ok if you’re gay, but not that gay.
sure, it’s easy for people, especially people who don’t like us, to label us, to put us in a box, and characterize us as all the same. but the reality is we’re as varied as any other group of people. and the people who happen to fit the stereotype shouldn’t be punished for being themselves or highlighting your insecurities.
so let’s focus on what we have in common, i.e. a shared love for penis, and stop judging each other — it’s really queeny.
Dear Daphne- Clara C.
Put him down
That clown of a thing you call a man
put him down
This is probably one of my favorite songs on the Clara cd right now
I was there
a dead soul looking for love
in pretty snake holes
you’re now there
you’re opening bombs in gift wrap
without a care
get out of there
you don’t need that kind of black and blue
marking up your heart
- Olive: *Him*? You fell in love with a boy?
- Frank: Very much so.
- Olive: That's silly.
- Frank: You're right it was silly. It was very silly
I CAN!!! WOOOOOOOOO
Hey baby it’s easy to believe in you and me
The smling the laughing it’s coming so easily
it’s a funny thing this love thing it only falls into my arms
when I’m not looking for it at all
hey baby you’re doing all the things that make me sing
I’m tying these heartstrings that I’ve been triple knotting
I want to take it slow and that’s ok with you
see I’m finished making the same old mistakes
I won’t let us fall
You put a smile on my heart
you put a smile on my heart
they’re coming all undone
my heartstrings
Hey darling see these wings are not clipped anymore
I’m singing and shaking off all my silence with this force
it’s a funny thing this love thing
you’re always on the same page same line same letter
we’re gonna go far
You put a smile on my heart
they’re coming all undone,
my heartstrings
Going to do this right
with you by my side
and if I fall
I’m safe I know
safe in your arms
Hey baby it’s easy to believe in you and me.
nothing else can ever compete.
Like a two piece puzzle they don’t even come close with you here in my arms.
<3
I don’t want to shower because I smell like you.
So far EVERY song off of Clara’s album is REALLY good
I can’t wait until Friday!
Check out this liiist Time’s 100 best English-Language novels from 1923 to present… I’m going to challenge myself and read them ALL! I checked out 1984 from the library with I Am Legend. I’ll finish that today and start the CHALLENGE! I’m going to try to complete the list in a year! WOO
<333 Me too
I REALLY love to read, but I REALLY enjoy books turned movies. Don’t get me wrong I like books that aren’t movies too. They’re kind of my guilty pleasure.
I’m reading I Am Legend right now(it’s REALLY good btw) and next I want to read Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro
I’m sitting in my room, alone, reading webcomics, and laughing hysterically.
I want to unfriend people on facebook that have no idea how to use: “your” “you’re” “to” “too” “there” “their”…. aren’t you in college? Do you read?…. Ever? Not worth my e-friendship.
