Meghan McCain: Prejean Is a Hypocrite

By Advocate.com EditorsMeghan McCain thinks Carrie Prejean is a hypocrite. Why? Because conservative media are giving her a pass for her eight sex tapes and numerous erotic photos because she’s against gay marriage. 

In her latest piece for The Daily Beast, McCain talks about what she finds disturbing in the first stop on the former Miss California’s book tour — her visit to Sean Hannity’s show.

McCain writes, “This was Prejean’s first stop on her book publicity tour, and when the sex tape came up, he proceeded to ask her if she was ‘in love with her boyfriend at the time that she made [it].’ I’m sorry, why would being in love matter when it comes to filming yourself in a sexual context?”

She goes on to question why gay marriage is always the focal point of any situation in the Republican Party: “The problem I have with my fellow Republicans is why gay marriage is the trump card in any situation. It seems that as long as you are against gay marriage, any scandal in your life can be overlooked or overcome. When you are in favor of it, however — and I have been very vocal about my support — that position defines you.”

Wow.. not all Republicans are evil.

Just some key points. So, I had my training for my job at BBW and how about I’m a TEMPORARY PART-TIME SALES ASSOCIATE! That doesn’t even sound like anything I should be doing with my time! Oh and get this - I only have 1 shift next week and it’s Saturday 12:30-3:30. Yup, 3 DAMN HOURS. I was seriously thinking “is this even worth it?!” so for now, the simple answer is “yes - until I find another job.”

Jenae said her first word yesterday - well it’s more of a sound. It’s basically “DA DA DA DA DA DA DA.” At first I was furious because I’ve been drilling the word “MAMA” into her head but whatever. I did get my 88 Coastal Scents palette yesterday. Can you say “LOVE”?!! I was overjoyed! I felt like a teeny bopper doing different shades on my eyelids today. I had those biatches that make it look easy on YouTube. They easily put on the color and here I am trying to blend it so it looks good - whatever, my smokey-eye looks FINALLY looks somewhat pro-status. I’m eyeing a new brush set and a eyebrow pencil soon.

I’m surprisingly not interested in my iphone to have a schedule - I miss having the manual writing planner. Something I can draw on and what-not.

So about this diet: I habitually cheated on it - as always. Yesterday I had several donuts, today I ate a steak, mashed potatoes and corn at like midnight. UGH. I haven’t worked out. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe not. My alarm is set to go off at 7:00a but I always turn it off and continue sleeping.

So, to imprint something gross into your mind - I had to give Jenae a bath because she got her dookie ALL over herself. I picked her up from her walker and it was all over her onesie and pants. YUCK! She’s starting to grab objects to help her stand so she was getting it all over her crib. It’s a small price to pay when you become a mother. Like I’ve never seen that much dookie in a while. I had to give her a bath and she was splashing and everything. I swear she’s getting so big too fast.

Question for everyone: IS THERE A FREE APP FOR IPHONES TO BLOG, OR A MOBILE BLOG SITE? I need something on the go.

I think there is a tumblr app actually… but I’m not sure if it’s free. I’m stuck in the dark ages with my bar phone that has no internet.

I’m thinking about starting a new tumblog  dedicated just to my marathon training and endeavors. What do you say? What should I name it?

Anyway

Today was day three. I ran four miles. It was terribly refreshing and a lot easier than my three mile on day one. I feel great. I’m still icing. Ice is my new best friend. It makes me feeel gooood. 129 days until the marathon :D.

Ice is fantastic. I iced my shins, knees and ankles. Wholey moley.. life is gooood

Day TWO!!! “rest”. I’m going to go walk three miles today. I’ve iced my lower body about twice already and I’m suppose to do it two more times. 130 more days until the marathon :D

ps Heroes is on hulu :D.. Can’t wait until Thursday for GOSSIP GUUUURL lol.. Hooray internets :D

So every year on the eve of my birthday, I always like to do something a bit crazy so that I’ll always leave the previous year with a “bang.”

Last year before my 18th birthday, I stripped down to my undies and ran around my  neighborhood until I couldn’t breathe.  I laid down in the middle of the street and gazed up at the stars, my lungs burning and my chest heaving.

This year, I knew that I had to top that experience.  This evening was more significant than the last because at this stage in my life, I’m finally settling down and realizing the fruits of my hard work throughout my first year of college.  I needed to make a statement.

So what did I do?  Kai, Minh Tuan, and myself dressed in drag, ran around the block in our heels, broke in to a golf course, stole some flags from the holes, paraded around Newport Beach, and danced the night away on a fountain.

Definitely one of the best nights in a while, it’s nice to finally pause to breathe in the experiences after a stressful 6 weeks of school.

I’m ecstatic for Tuesday, it’s going to be a crazy party with the best of friends!

Wow - I haven’t been on this in months! But someway, some how I always end up blogging. So lemme tell you about today: 1) I found out I get $5000+ a year to go back to school - Which is PERFECT since a. I already have a house approx. 3 miles from school b. I can take a bus/drive to school c. It’s not expensive at all considering it’s just cosmetology school d. I can use the money as a down payment for a used car! (I’ll look good in a range rover =]) 2) I have an interview on Wednesday to be a receptionist for a high-end investment company in downtown on the 23rd floor. a. If I get this job, I’ll be making hella bank! $20/hr just to answer/direct phone calls and file paperwork. 3) My Coastal Scents 88 Eyeshadow Palette has been shipped to me! a. This is the infamous palette Michelle Phan uses and it’s compared to high-end brands like M.A.C. 1. I recommend this to ANYONE, it’s only $18.95 and the colors are so highly pigmented that it’ll be a while until you use it all up. I’ve been doing everything outline style - I’ve been making lists, resumes, cover letters… etc. My Resume/Cover Letter is pretty good too! My choice of diction is incredible - thanks to the internet! LOL

OMG Maxine=next Michelle Phan…. Do tutorials too please.. I’ll watch and rate them.. FIVE STARS and comment on them “OMGBBQ I LOVE MAXINE!” CAPLOCKS!

I feel like poo.. and I’m particularly irritable. The gay sass has came out more than once already… and will only get worst. Well.. I couldn’t hide it forever.
